Project Leader: Monica
This is an outreach/education project, originally funded by Unlocking Curious Minds with later support from MPI. In October/November 2019, we took a mobile classroom (and amazing educational experiences) to schools and communities around the Auckland and Northland areas (where kauri dieback is the biggest threat).
We ran three outreach tours but stopped our hands-on outreach when covid hit. We are currently focused on distributing some of our educational content (e.g. virtual reality modules) to interested community groups (free of charge!). We hope to take TKOTK back out to schools again one day.
